Chamber Annual Gala
A Night of Elegance
Members are invited to attend this evening of celebration as we gather for our Annual Chamber Gala.
6:00pm: Social hour w/ appetizers
7:00pm: Dinner Buffet* Consisting of:
- CHICKEN FLORENTINE (GF) Grilled Chicken Breast Topped with Fresh Spinach, Mushrooms, Onions, Peppers, and Creamy Sauce Supreme
- HONEY MUSTARD GLAZED SALMON (GF) Fresh Atlantic salmon seared and brushed with stone ground honeycomb mustard and baked golden brown
- Bay Pointe Caesar Salad with grilled parsnips and sweet potato
- Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- Brussel Sprouts with maple syrup/honey glaze
- Assorted pies for dessert
- Non-Alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, lemonade, assorted sodas

Olympian and Local Business Owner
Brian will be speaking on his history as a celebrated Olympian and business owner, work/life balance, challenges he has faced and overcome as an Olympian and business owner.
Brian Diemer was a steeplechaser who ran at three Olympics (1984, 1988, 1992), winning a bronze medal in 1984. He also competed at four World Championships, in 1983, 1987, 1991, and 1993, with a best finish of fourth in 1987. Diemer won a gold medal at the 1990 Goodwill Games and a silver medal at the 1995 Pan American Games. Diemer ran at the University of Michigan, where he won the NCAA steeplechase in 1983 and was third in the 2-mile at the 1983 NCAA Indoor Championships.
Diemer is currently a second-generation co-owner of Everett’s Landscape Management that has been in business for over 50 years. Brian is proud that his son and nephew are carrying on the Everett's Landscape legacy as third generation co-owners. Everett's Landscape Management specializes in landscape design and build, landscape maintenance, snow and ice removal and a nursery. Everett’s employs over 180 employees during the busy growing season.
Brian is also a retired coach at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has coached the Knights to four national championships.
Brian and his wife, Kerri, have four children.
