Name: Campfire Writing Contest
Date: July 1, 2024 - July 19, 2024
Event Description:

Do you enjoy writing, specifically spooky stories? Enter our Campfire Writing Contest, open to both kids and adults! Write about anything you would like. Whether you are writing a spooky, creepy ghost story or a fantasy story about a dragon, we would love to have your stories submitted into our contest!

Submissions will be accepted from Monday, July 1st through Friday July 19th. All entries must be original work and should not exceed 800 words. (We may love to read, but we want to make sure we can read through all of the submissions!) Stories should be “family friendly”. Please pick up an entry form from the library and return it with your story.

There will be a winner from each age group. Winners will be announced at our S'mores Party on Wednesday, July 24th, where the winning stories will be read aloud. Small prizes will be awarded to the winners of each age group and will be handed out at the S’mores Party. Any questions, please email tori@henikalibrary.org
