Event Description:
Members are invited to attend this evening of celebration as we gather for our annual year-end gala. This evening will hold an engaging presentation. There will also be three prestigious awards presented to outstanding chamber members: Community Service, Business of the Year, and President's Choice.
An engaging presentation will be take place by Tim Gortsema, President of the Grand Rapids Griffins. Gortsema, who has been with the Griffins since they began in 1995, recently replaced Griffins majority owner and CEO Dan DeVos. Gortsema is the first person to hold this title other than DeVos.
Gortsema had previously served the Griffins as the Senior Vice President since 2007. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Finance and Administration for DP Fox Sports & Entertainment. Gortsema also serves as the key liaison to the Red Wings and will continue to oversee all business related activities for the Grand Rapids Griffins.
Menu will consist of appetizers during the 6:00pm social hour, a plated salad, and a buffet consisting of:

- Chicken Chardonnay (grilled chicken breast topped with wild mushrooms, onions, artichokes, and finished with a chardonnay cream sauce)
- Carved Top Round of Beef (tender and moist top round served with au jus & horseradish hand-carved by the chef)
- Garlic Whipped Potatoes
- Broccoli
- Rolls
- Dessert
- Assorted beverages
