2024 Chamber Kick-Off Luncheon- MEMBERS ONLY
Chamber members are invited to join us for a delicious lunch and an engaging presentation by Michigan State Senator Thomas Albert.
About Senator Albert:
Senator Albert represents the 18th District in the Michigan Senate. The district includes parts of six Michigan counties, including part of Allegan County.
He is beginning his second year in the Michigan Senate. He was first elected to the Michigan Legislature in 2016 as a member of the House of Representatives.
Senator Albert is a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee and the Senate Labor Committee. He is a former chair of the House Appropriations Committee.
He is a former Marine, and before he was elected to the Legislature, he worked as an investor for the State of Michigan Retirement Systems.
He lives in Lowell with his wife and five young children.
Senator Albert will speak on the state of the state, local economy and the local economic forecast.
